Just a few steps from the hotel, in Plaza Patria, you can hop on the tourist streetcar and take a tour of the city.

Creation of the distinguished architect Refugio Reyes in 1915, Hotel Francia pays tribute in its name to the architectural style that represents a time of history and splendor in the city.

For many years the hotel was renowned for hosting bullfighters, businessmen, artists, politicians and international figures, as well as for its excellent cuisine. The walls of its rooms and halls have collected stories and history which have shaped the state´s identity.

Today, despite the fact that the hotel boasts all the comforts of the modern world, its facade retains all of the original elements that Reyes stamped on his work.
