Museo Ferrocarrilero Tres Centurias

Don’t miss the Monumental Clock show or the Round House presentation at Plaza Tres Centurias.

The museum is part of the Tres Centurias Railroad Complex and was opened in March, 2003.

It is housed in the old loading depot built at the end of the nineteenth century and used to weigh and distribute a wide range of goods transported on the railway, including beans, corn, guava, pears and grapes.

Today the museum has a collection of more than ten thousand pieces related to railway infrastructure, including machinery, tools, equipment and documents. The goal is to tell the story and display the history of the national railway system and its economic, political, social and cultural impact on the development of Aguascalientes in the early twentieth century.
