Museo Regional de Historia

If you have any questions about exhibits just ask a member of staff; they will be happy to help.

Located in a stately home built in 1901 by Refugio Reyes in a Mediterranean style, the museum tells the story of Aguascalientes and its people in the seven exhibition rooms where the past is recreated in an attempt to show how it was lived at the time.

The building has a garden at its center, where there is a dining room and kitchen dating from the same period. The corridors lead to the living room and the bedrooms of the previous owners.

The museum has a wide range of displays, including a fossil collection, pieces related to pre-Hispanic groups and their religious beliefs, and to the Chichimeca wars fought in the region
